Laura Whitmore will take on hosting duties this time around, and has opened up about how “supportive” Caroline Flack has been about her taking on the role.“She’s a brilliant host and I just hope that I can give the role the justice it deserves while she is taking some time off.”
Laura said that when she got the call to host the series, she was straight on to her boyfriend, Iain Stirling, to make sure he was comfortable with her taking on the job. “When I initially got the call, I had a conversation with Iain. It’s his show,” she said. “I said, ‘How would you feel about it?’ We both agreed straight away.”This morning, Laura shared a photo on Instagram of her all packed up and ready to go to Cape Town. Sitting beside hersuitcase, the presenter said: “Last minute packing….all the essentials…Cape Town here I come!”
