Irish weather forecast: Met Eireann warns of 'unsettled' conditions ahead with cold frosty nights and 'heavy' rain showers
Met Eireann has warned we are in for a week of unsettled weather, with cold frosty nights, some heavy showers of rain and "cooler than average" temperatures.
Tuesday will see some short sunny spells but it will be overall cloudy with patchy outbreaks of light rain and drizzle, in a light to moderate southeast breeze. A forecaster warned: "Some of the showers could turn heavy, especially in the south. Feeling cool, with highest temperatures of 8C to 12C or 13C .Wednesday night will be chilly with lows of 2C and 5C and grass frost.
It will be coolest and rainiest in Ulster and highest temperatures will only hit 8C to 12C, in light variable mainly northerly breezes.
