The pair tied up a senior citizen and stole her valuables last month, the Union County Prosecutor's Office said.

Authorities are looking for Emmanuel Rivera, of Carteret, who took allegedly took part in an armed home invasion in Elizabeth in March.One man has been arrested and another is being searched for following a gunpoint home invasion in Elizabeth last month.

Herby Desir, 34, and Emmanuel Rivera, 33, tied up a senior citizen after entering a house on Summit Road near the corner of Colonia Road shortly before 11 a.m. on March 2, theThe pair fled and the woman was found and freed by another resident a short time later, authorities said. Desir, of Rahway, was arrested March 24 following a weeks-long investigation by Elizabeth police and the prosecutor’s office. He is being held at the Union County jail.

Rivera, of Carteret, is still being sought. Investigators say Rivera is 5-foot-8 and about 160 pounds with short brown hair and brown eyes. He has tattoos along his left wrist, his right shoulder and bicep area as well as across his chest. Both men are charged with three counts of robbery, criminal restraint, conspiracy and two weapons offenses.Anyone with information about the robbery or the whereabouts of Rivera is asked to call Elizabeth police Det. Louis Demondo at 908-558-2100 or prosecutor’s office Det. Katelyn Prata at 908-447-6195. Anyone who sees Rivera should not approach him, but rather call police immediately.
