A man has been charged in connection with a fatal shooting outside a bar near Interstate 45 in southeast Houston that led to the death of a bystander last year.
Moises Castillo, 28, has been charged with murder in connection with the death of Ada Aguilar, 47, according to Harris County District Court records.Houston TV station ABC13 reported at the time that Aguilar had been leaving the La Playita Bar & Grill, 11555 Fuqua St., when a vehicle started driving wildly in the parking lot.
Witnesses told investigators security guards at the restaurant began firing at the vehicle, and someone struck Aguilar’s vehicle as she was leaving the parking lot, according to the Houston Police Department.
