obsessive to remember a certain dove-grey shorts suit that she wore to attend Bobby Gillespie and Katy England’s wedding back in 2006. In fact, simply hearing the words “shorts suit” conjures images of a sun-kissed Kate in said outfit: relaxed shorts, barely-buttoned shirt and beribboned hat. A camcorder provided the memorable finishing touch.
Of course, it was far from the only time Kate outshone every other wedding guest at a friend’s nuptials. She has graced the pews at countless high-profile ceremonies wearing elegant, often vintage ensembles. Moss chose a chic polka-dot skirt suit to attend the wedding of Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank in 2018. In 2019, a burgundy gown by Janice Wainwright made it to her suitcase as she jetted off to the Big Apple for Marc Jacobs’s wedding, while Chanel outfitted Kate when she watched Leah Wood and Jack Macdonald tie the knot that same year.
