Ballyhale, St. Thomas, Glen, Nemo and Errigal Ciaran look to win again
THE madness of County Final season has calmed a little this week with the number of football deciders down from 13 to seven.

The Shamrocks, with Colin Fennelly jetting in and out from Dubai to play, are seeking to deny their opponents a fifth county title.If Tyrone isn’t the most competitive championship around, it’s the most wide open with the highest volume of genuine challengers. Errigal’s final opponents Trillick won in 2015 and 2019 and have made this year’s decider without injured talisman Matty Donnelly.
Turloughmore are going for a ninth title and a first since 1985, having done six on the bounce between 1961 and 1966. Nemo defeated Brian Hurley’s Castlehaven in the 2015 and 2018 County Finals, although Castlehaven inflicted one of those four decider losses, back in 2013.This week there were noises about their lack of representation on the Cork football team.This is the second year they’ve been tipped for provincial and even All-Ireland honours before they’ve even landed the county title.
