BREAKING: A 17-year-old was charged with murder following a shooting on E. 6th Street earlier this week, Austin_Police said.
Police said on Dec. 7, around 2:01 a.m., officers responded to a shooting in the 400 block of E. 6th Street.
The preliminary investigation shows Polk was involved in an altercation with a man he did not know, 17-year-old Carlos Narvaez. At one point, Narvaez pulled out a gun, shot Polk, and left the area.
