A Chicago police SUV was involved in a serious multi-vehicle crash near 75th Street and St. Lawrence in the Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood.
Three people, including two Chicago police officers, were hurt in a multi-vehicle crash involving a police SUV on the city's South Side Friday afternoon."It was mayhem all over here," said Pamela White, who witnessed the crash.
Chicago police said a Cadillac was turning eastbound on 75th Street from northbound St. Lawrence when it struck a marked CPD squad car that was responding to a call for service in the area around 4:45 p.m. The CPD squad car struck a fixed light post and the side of a building, police said. The Cadillac struck a parked, occupied Mazda that was parked on 75th Street.
