UPDATE - West Valley City police report that a 14-year-old male, who they believe to be the shooter has been booked into juvenile detention. Three other teenagers were questioned and released. A gun has also been recovered.
FOX 13 has learned the victims were football players at Hunter High School, one 14 years old, while the other was 15. The boy who was injured is 15 years old and currently in stable condition.
While the names of the victims have yet to be released, a football coach said the two had very bright futures. West Valley City Police confirmed that a gun believed to be connected to the shooting had been recovered.
