Mercedes' electric flagship, BMW's next 7-Series, and a wild electric track car all made headlines today.
We've taken another spin in the Mercedes-Benz EQS, specifically the EQS 450+. The big electric hatch ticks a lot of boxes, but some of its technology can be distracting or overwhelming, or both.
A redesigned BMW 7-Series has been spotted in prototype form testing on public roads. Expected to debut later this year as a 2023 model, the BMW flagship sedan will feature a new design inside and out, along with updated technology and a battery-electric variant. A British firm by the name of McMurtry raised a few eyebrows last summer when it rolled out the Spéirling, a diminutive electric track car that looks like a Batmobile-inspired soapbox racer. The Spéirling is a serious performance machine, though, and now it has a Formula One racing driver developing it.
