With respect to Brompton overall, there’s very little here that’s totally new – instead, it’s more of a new high-performance mix.
The new Brompton x CHPT3 also shares the lightweight 4-speed drivetrain of the P Line with Brompton’s own custom-made derailleur & mini 11-13-15-18T cassette. To save weight, this special edition does not feature the built-in lighting, full-coverage fenders, or QR front bag attachment of the standard P Line.
The special edition Brompton x CHPT3 sells for $3200 / £2595 / 3150€ with a claimed complete bike weight of just 9.5kg/20.9lb including pedals. Officially it is a limited edition in stock now, available only from Brompton or their retailer stores, so you can only buy 1 per person.
