2023 Hyundai Tucson Updated Down Under With Bluelink Connected Car Tech | Carscoops carscoops

The only change made to the SUV is the introduction of Hyundai’s Bluelink connected car service, now standard on Elite and Highlander models. The connected-car service is offered free of charge for the first 5 years of new vehicle ownership and is transferable to subsequent owners within this 5-year period.

A plethora of features come as part of the Bluelink service. These include Automatic Collision Notification that will automatically alert the Bluelink Customer Care Center following an accident when an airbag deploys. Connected Routing is also included and can calculate navigation routes through the powerful server in the Bluelink cloud rather than the in-car navigation system.

Australia has bumped up starting prices of the 2023 Tucson Elite and Highlander by AU$500 to accommodate the inclusion of Bluelink.Continuing to sit at the base of the range is the standard 2023 Tucson, priced from AU$34,900 and available exclusively with a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated MPi four-cylinder engine driving the front wheels through a six-speed automatic transmission. An N Line option pack is available for AU$4,000 .Elite starting at AU$39,900 with the 2.
