KTOO seeks qualified people to join our Gavel Alaska team, working seasonally during the upcoming 2023 Legislative session. The crew will work together to produce daily live television and web coverage of the Alaska Legislature and other programming on the statewide KTOO 360TV public affairs channel.
These positions frequently require evening and weekend availability and overtime hours. We are looking for people with at least some experience in media production and with a basic understanding of the Legislative process. We offer paid training in the technical skills necessary to do this work.The assistant control room manager
Most of the work is at KTOO Studios, but crew members may occasionally be tasked to work in Alaska State Capitol building if COVID conditions permit.
