A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), Mustapha Muhammad has expressed dissatisfaction over the internal crisis rocking the party in the State.
Speaking with DAILY POST exclusively in Gusau, the State capital, Muhammad wondered why there is no cohesion in the party to mobilize forces to challenge the ruling All Progressive Congress in the State.to wax strong ahead of 2023 general election in the State” he lamented.
Muhammad further said there were grudges within the leadership of the party in the state which forced the deputy chairman to dump the party with his supporters for the New Nigeria Peoples Party . He noted that another group came out to debunk the statement, saying that those who gave the press statement were not authentic members of the party.
“The internal crisis, however, continued to escalate to the extent that the party’s supporters started losing confidence in the party as the leadership of the party could not address the problems and speak with one voice”
