The city's police have said that the 24-year-old was crossing West 4th Avenue at Arbutus Street at around 11.30pm with a friend when he was struck by a newer model grey sedan which appeared to be travelling at high speeds.The Collision Investigation Unit for the Vancouver Police Department has already spoken to a number of witnesses to the hit-and-run.
