Richardson police are investigating after three people were injured in an ax attack at a coffee shop Friday night. Police responded about 8 p.m. to reports of several people fighting — one of them with an ax — at a shopping plaza in the 500 block of West Campbell Road, near Nantucket Drive.When officers arrived, they found three people injured, including the person with the ax, police said.
Two people were taken to a hospital, and their conditions were unknown. The third person was treated at the coffee shop, police said. The three people involved knew one another, according to police, and authorities are not looking for any additional suspects.Jamie Landers.
