THE POLICE SERVICE OF Northern Ireland have arrested a 39 year-old man after attending of number of security alerts in the city. In an alert this morning, the PSNI said they were attending a number of incidents at Iniscarn Road, Harty Court, Strand Road and Moss Park. The 39 year-old man was subsequently arrested and was taken to the serious crime suite at Musgrave Police Station for questioningThey also confirmed that they are not investigating any link between these alerts and the murder of Lyra McKee in the city on Thursday night.This is going to cause Major Disruption. Houses will be evacuated so please be on hand to help affected family, friends or neighbours. We can only apologise for the inconvenience.
