Officers were advised that one of the vehicles was on fire, possibly with passengers trapped inside.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers also located an individual lying on the pavement with unknown injuries.Both lanes of travel on South Meridian were closed between 23rd Avenue and 27th Avenue while police were investigating the collision.
