Nick Bosa won’t be opposing big brother Joey but is still excited for Sunday night’s 49ers’ game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
SANTA CLARA — Brothers Nick and Joey Bosa won’t be having a race to the quarterback in Sunday night’s NFL spotlight.
“Obviously it’s such an important game for both teams, but it’s going to be hard for me not to have a slight edge rooting for Nick, because Joey is out,” their dad, John Bosa, told Greg Papa on KNBR 680-AM on Wednesday. “Nick, he’s an outstanding, complete edge player,” Staley added. “He’s very physical. He makes a lot of big plays. He plays with a motor. I think that, sometimes, when you have special players, you don’t ever take for granted that they play really hard.
Ekeler has scored in five straight games, and his 10 touchdowns from scrimmage this season are tied for the NFL lead. He’s totaled 427 rushing yards and 381 receiving yards .
