The 49ers (5-4) made it through their three official practices in Colorado without any reported injuries as they next fly to Mexico on Sunday.
Perhaps best illustrating the 49ers’ full-speed-ahead approach is defensive end Nick Bosa, who played all but two snaps last game en route to a season-high, 54-snap performance. “Last game, I was feeling fresh,” Bosa said.
“Yeah, I feel good,” Garoppolo said. “No different than any other year. It was a good offseason; it wasn’t my typical offseason, so I got to save the body a little bit. I think it’s paying some dues right now.”* Scout-team honors went this week went to tight end Ross Dwelley, linebacker Marcellino McCrary-Ball and defensive back Qwuantrezz Knight.
* The 49ers are seeking their 51st “Monday Night Football” victory, which would knock them out of a tie with the Pittsburgh Steelers for most in NFL history.
