A far more likely contender is Luton Town’s Nathan Jones, who is reportedly the frontrunner. Jones has enjoyed two successful spells in charge of The Hatters, either side of a disappointing stint with Stoke City, taking the club from League Two to the top of League One in his first period in charge and then to the Championship play-offs last season after returning. Luton are currently 8th in the table.
