Chicago police say that five people have died and at least 21 others have been hurt in shootings across the city so far this weekend.

A 30-year-old man was shot in the chest, and was pronounced dead at the scene by police.

A 34-year-old man was driving in the 3000 block of South Ashland Avenue at approximately 12:11 a.m. when he was shot in the lower back.
