I can’t see this stuff without reliving all those ill-advised college nights in the 90s fueled by horrendous cinnamon schnapps. It wasn’t a good idea then, and it hasn’t gotten any better with age.Sorry. You don’t get to squirt a little hot sauce on your yardbird sammie and call it Nashville hot chicken. If it ain’t brick red from a face-melting coat of cayenne, it ain’t from Tennessee.Yes, they are still fun to go to, but there aren’t many farmers.
These are now boutiques that now have the vibe of outdoor beer patios, food trucks and stuff you can find on the shelves of a Cracker Barrel restaurant.You go to the neighborhood bar to socialize, relax and watch the football game on TV. You do not go there to play a four-foot game of Connect Four, Jenga made with enough wood to frame a house and worst of all ... corn hole. Nobody plays these games and those that do annoy everybody that is not.
