Eight fire engines and around 60 firefighters were called to a block of flats in Hammersmith, London, on Sunday
Dozens of firefighters were rushed to a blaze at a block of apartments in London that left one flat destroyed and two cats sadly killed.
The London Fire Brigade said part of a flat with three rooms on the fifth floor of the seven-story block was destroyed in the fire. It was a very visible fire with 20 999 calls made to the Brigade's Control centre alerting them to the fire. Sadly two cats died at the scene. Thankfully, no injuries are reported.
