Three-quarters of GDPR investigation decisions made by the Data Protection Commission have been overruled by its European counterparts to date, according to a new report.

The report from the Irish Council of Civil Liberties claims that since the European-wide regulation became applicable on May 25 2018, that 75 per cent of cross-border decisions made by commissioner Helen Dixon’s office have been struck down by its counterparts at the European Data Protection Board.
