State police at Harrisburg are investigating the theft of checks from VLP Properties that were fraudulently created and deposited. The owner of the real estate firm reported on Thursday afternoon the theft of company checks from its offices on Walnut Run Court, West Hanover Township. The loss is valued at $9,000, according to state police.
