From The Rotterdam to The Garfield, many great nights were had!

Back in the 1990s, a trip to a bar in Belfast meant battling your way through a smoke-filled room with a pint of Harp in hand to find a stool that had been upholstered in a material which almost matched the sticky carpet on the floor.

However, plenty of laughs were had back then and we wouldn't change it for the world! The Rotterdam Bar Located in the Sailortown area in the city. Closed in the '00s. A home to music lovers and a social hub for the local community. It has reopened as The American bar - continuing the legacy of being a welcoming space for musicians.6. The Garfield Bar The Garfield Bar on Lower Garfield Street has been abandoned since the last tenant moved out in 2014. It has been earmarked for redevelopment as part of the Tribeca plans.8.
