The property was sold in an off-market deal, according to listing agent Beverly Aluise Knight of Ocean Estate Properties. She declined to disclose the buyer or seller but said the seller received an unsolicited offer for the home. The sale, which included the home’s furniture, was the priciest ever recorded in the coastal town, and the first above $40 million.
