The boss 'could not believe' it
The owner of an Indian restaurant in Radcliffe-on-Trent 'could not believe' it when his curry house received a zero hygiene rating from the Food Standards Agency . Officials carried out an inspection of Yaadgaar Tandoori Restaurant, in Shelford Road, on July 14 and said the takeaway required 'major improvements' for both food handling and management of food safety.
The restaurant has in business for 34 years and Mr Tahir said they had no received "a single complaint about their food" while he has worked there. Assistant manager Mr Tahir said: "Our boss always said 'if you wouldn't eat the food, don't serve it to the customer'."We challenge customers to come and look at the food, how we cook it at the restaurant and go anywhere in the restaurant and customers will say there is no problem whatsoever.
