One missed turn and the Ever Forward, a 1,095-foot ship, finds itself stuck in the Chesapeake Bay. The vessel is owned by the same company that owns the Ever Given, the ship that blocked the Suez Canal last year.

This situation in this case isn't so dire: The Ever Forward isn't blocking the channel, so other ships can get around it — though there is a 500-yard"safety zone" surrounding the vessel.
