The Elections Board said the group got valid signatures from at least 5 percent of registered voters in wards 1, 2, 3 and 4, but failed to meet that benchmark in wards 5, 7 and 8 — leaving Ward 6 in question. Officials said Monday they were reviewing all of the group’s signatures from Ward 6 this week to determine if backers met the threshold and would aim to make a determination this week.
