The actress has joined the cast of Captain America: New World Order
since her role in 2008's The Incredible Hulk, Liv Tyler is returning to the franchise., the actress has joined the cast of Captain America: New World Order to reprise her role as scientist Dr Betty Ross, who was formerly the love interest of Bruce Banner aka the Hulk. The latter was played by Edward Norton in the 2008 blockbuster before being replaced by Mark Ruffalo going forward.In the interim since The Incredible Hulk, Tyler appeared in the movies Ad Astra, Robot & Frank and Super.
Her casting comes as Betty Ross' father Thaddeus 'Thunderbolt' Ross is set to take a more central role in the Captain America sequel. Previously a US Army General, the character has become the US President in New World Order.
