Authorities have identified the 30-year-old Utah man who was killed Friday when debris struck his car on Interstate 15 and pierced his windshield, hitting him.

Brady Fuhriman, from Millville in Cache County, was traveling northbound on I-15 in Weber County on Friday afternoon when the debris — which apparently came from another vehicle headed in the opposite direction — somehow flew over the median and struck him, according to a news release from the Department of Public Safety.
Sgt. Cameron Roden with the Utah Highway Patrol said investigators are trying to find out more information about the “crazy circumstances” that led to Fuhriman’s death. But they believe he was hit by a brake assembly that may have fallen off the back of a load or came off of a wrecked car that was being hauled.
Fuhriman and his girlfriend were expecting a baby girl in July, according to posts on social media. On his Instagram profile, Fuhriman wrote that he’s an “avid outdoorsman, tech junkie and music enthusiast.” Police urge anyone who might have footage of what happened or any details to call Weber County dispatch’s nonemergency line at 801-395-8221.
