This stylish expression from chief winemaker Ricardo Baettig is reflective of the terroir and presents plummy fruit enhanced by complex aromas of spice and chocolate notes. Full bodied and well balanced, the palate is rounded by lively acidity and medium tannins where dark fruits take centre stage. Ageing for 12 months in French oak barrels offers added complexity and this would be a perfect pairing with the Dunnes Stores sharing striploin steak for a romantic meal.
