According to a recent survey, the array of activities enjoyed by the Irish on Stephen’s Day is vast, spanning from sea swims to pints in the local. Which will you choose this year?
An enormous 46 percent aren’t yet sick of turkey and ham, as they plan to tuck into leftovers for the day. Enjoying Christmas dinner round two is the most popular way to spend St Stephen’s Day, whether it be in a sandwich or just as you had it the night before. According to the national survey, carried out by Lottoland, those over the age of 35 are more likely to choose to spend the day either relaxing or visiting family members.
Enjoying the tradition of sitting and watching sports is mostly a male occupation, with three times more men on the sofa for this purpose.
