Video: Aaron Judge arrives in San Francisco

A 6-foot-7 man was spotted Monday evening with his bags in what appears to be a San Francisco hotel lobby.

In the spiciest nugget of hot stove news yet, the man was Aaron Judge, the American League MVP and single-season home run king — free-agent priority No. 1 for the San Francisco Giants . He will reportedly meet with the Giants on Tuesday. In a video published by MLB Network, Judge has a duffel bag in one hand and a coat in the other. Donning a black ballcap, a gray sweatshirt and black sweatpants, the superstar free agent was all smiles in the 13-second clip.

“Just visiting some family and friends, that’s about it,” Judge says to the woman filming, with a wink — intentionally or unintentionally — at the end. Giving credence to that gesture being a knowing one, MLB.com’s Mark Feinsand shortly thereafter, citing unnamed sources, that Judge had a meeting with the Giants scheduled for Tuesday.
