Robson is adamant his players will play with the shackles off and go for it against Frankfurt and don't fear the German side.
Aberdeen boss Barry Robson has insisted going up against Europa Conference League big hitters Eintracht Frankfurt doesn’t scare him.
It sees the Dons return to the European group stage for the second time in their history, since 2007-08 under Jimmy Calderwood. Robson has done major surgery on his team this summer and they have still to click but he is confident they can make their mark at this level. He said: “That’s what I’ve told them - go and enjoy it.
“We want to perform on this stage. So go and enjoy it, impose yourself on the game and bring a positive performance.” “It has been important for us, so hopefully we can put on a performance. We know it’s going to be difficult but that doesn’t stop us going out there and performing, trying to get a result.”
