Irwin did not think that Fetterman’s stroke was a deciding factor for voters, noting the CNN exit poll that found 50% said he was healthy enough to serve and 48% said he was not, results that almost match the voting result. “If you were an ‘unnamed Democrat’ who wet the bed to the press after the debate, I hope you stub your toe on the corner of your bed frame this morning, spill coffee on your shirt and then lock your keys in your car,” he tweeted. “But mostly, I hope you now you’re a loser.”
“The problem for Oz was his lack of residency in this state was a huge factor,” said Madonna. “That issue definitely resonated with voters, and you can’t underestimate the significance of that.” Madonna said Fetterman also offered voters something that Oz could not muster, authenticity. Famous for his hoodies, shorts and tattoos, Fetterman drew a distinctly different impression than the TV polished Oz.
