Houston police are investigating after they said a store clerk was shot by a robber at a Family Dollar store in northeast Houston Wednesday.
According to officers, one of the suspects shot one of the clerks during the course of the robbery. An unknown amount of money was also taken from the cash register before the suspects fled the scene, police said.
