The movie was shot entirely in Northeast Ohio last year, but it’s hard to tell based on the 2-minute, 38-second clip.
CLEVELAND, Ohio -- “But out of some persistent sense of large-scale ruin, we keep inventing hope,” Adam Driver’s character says as he drives the family station wagon off a cliff in the new trailer for “White Noise.”
Director Noah Baumbach and his crew spent nearly six months shooting in places like downtown Cleveland, Cleveland Heights, Wellington, Canton and on the campuses of Oberlin, Baldwin Wallace and Kent State. This isn’t the first time Netflix has shot a movie in Cleveland. “No One Gets Out Alive” and “The Last Summer” were also filmed here.
