There's nothing more sobering than a pounding headache and a morning full of regrets after knocking back countless drinks the night before. Hangovers are no mean feat - so, it certainly piqued interest when Someone Like You singer Adele unveiled an unusual method to banish them.
But, can it really work? Holly Crossley E-commerce Director at sustainable drinks brand , DASH Water, claims the singer is definitely on to something with her drinking tip, but there's a way to make it even more effective. Opting for carbonated water as a mixer for your alcoholic drink is one great way to counteract the effects of alcohol too, according to Holly. This is primarily because the water balances out alcohol's dehydrating effect which triggers headaches and other unwanted symptoms.
On the flipside, songwriter Benny Blanco - who's currently dating Selena Gomez - revealed another bizarre hangover 'cure' just three months ago. Speaking with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show, he said: "Before you drink, you take a shot of this, you can't get hungover. Impossible... I love it."
