For one weekend only and adult per car can go free to Knowsley Safari Park
One adult per car can enjoy all the safari has to offer but only on Father's Day weekend, from Saturday, June 15 to Sunday, 16. Dads can get in free to enjoy a wild day out with the kids, but if he’d prefer the day to himself, then mum can bring them and go free instead, as the offer is for one adult in each car to go free with a full-paying child.
The offer comes after a yak, called Harry, celebrated becoming a dad after mum Mila welcomed the young male yak on April 25. Keepers say the new calf has a cheeky personality and is showing signs he’ll be a confident and independent yak.READ MORE: Win the ultimate CBeebies experience at Alton Towers Resort, including an overnight-themed sleepover!
The Safari is buzzing with new life following the births of the yak calf and a young Southern White Rhino, as well as the arrival of new Andean Bears, Bahia and Chui, who live at Bear Country on the Foot Safari. There’s plenty more to see on the Foot Safari too including meerkats, giraffe, Red River Hogs and Amur Tigers, which our reporter Rebecca Koncienzcy enjoyed when she went with her family. Ian Duke, marketing manager at Knowsley Safari said: "Our free Father’s Day experience is a win-win for everyone. It's a great day out making memories, a fabulous present for those wild and adventurous dads and, of course, the kids are going to love it just as much as him." Bookings must be made in advance online and can’t be used in conjunction with any other offer. To find out more information and to take advantage of Knowsley Safari’s dads go free offer , book here.
