’ Modern Family ’ is set to finish up after the show’s eleventh and final season. It’s enjoyed a great run, but alas all good things must come to an end. Although originally due to end after 10 seasons, the renewal of ’ Modern Family ’ for a final season is down to the Fox/Disney merger.
However, there are ’no concrete plans’ for that at the moment, although a couple of previous spinoffs were rumoured to be in development previously. Christopher Lloyd, one half of the show’s creators said ’For 10 years, our characters have bravely faced turning points in life and moved through them to great personal enrichment; we have chosen a different path by doing one more season of ’Modern Family’.’ Very recently, fans were left devastated after one of the characters was killed off.
