After 67 years with the Adili family, Ray’s Family Restaurant now in the hands of new owners.

“Right now, I’m kind of numb. I still don’t believe it’s happening,” said Adili, as he and his wife, Ismet, look forward to retirement. “Maybe it takes time to sink in. It feels kind of good and kind of not so good. I’m going to miss everyone. Adili’s father and brother, Ray, purchased it in 1973. Adili started working there that year, and purchased it in 1986.
Adili doesn’t know what he’ll do in retirement. He’s looking forward to spending time with his wife, kids and five grandchildren. He may stop by the restaurant on occasion to say hi to his customers, he said.
