This is the bank’s fourth green bond, with a total €4 billion raised in the market
AIB saw strong investor demand for its latest green bond issuance, raising €750 million, with interest peaking at €1.5 billion before it revised its price.
The bond had a coupon, or an annual interest rate, of 5.25 per cent. Proceeds from the issuance, which was purchased by 109 investors across 19 countries, will be used to finance environmental and climate action projects.
