The Irish horse-racing trainer had a fabulous weekend Stateside.
Aidan O'Brien had a hugely successful weekend at the Breeders' Cup meet and took home a huge amount of cash.The biggest win of the weekend came in the Longines Breeders' Cup, where Ryan Moore's success aboard Auguste Rodin netted the 54-year-old trainer €1,997, 959.87.Ryan Moore did the trick again in the Prevagen Breeders' Cup Juvenile, with his victory with Unquestionable bagging O'Brien a cool €499,000 .
Ryan Moore earned more cash for O'Brien with a second-placed finish aboard Warm Heart for €326,929.83 . In total, O'Brien took home a whopping €3,169,840.78 for his eight runners at the Breeders' Cup this weekend. Speaking after his big win in the main race of the weekend, O'Brien heaped praise upon his jockey Ryan Moore."But that's the thing about Ryan,' O'Brien continued. 'He's just so professional with everything that he sees, he never, ever panics. Ryan is a brilliant jockey but, more than anything, he loves horses – and, believe me, he really loves this horse.
"I told him the other day that he won't reach his peak until he's 45 – seriously! He's so totally professional. He does everything. When he comes over to work , he's the first one in the gym before you. And, I promise you, he is getting better."
