Hopefully the patient is ok after reports of a 'medical emergency'

The ambulance service has confirmed why an air ambulance was sent to Watford town centre this afternoon.

Crews were called to a"medical emergency" in Market Street before a man was taken to Watford General Hospital in a"serious condition", the East of England Ambulance Service confirmed. A spokesperson said two ambulances, a rapid response vehicle, an ambulance officer car and Essex and Herts Air Ambulance were sent shortly after 12.40pm .
