Now, the Midlands Air Ambulance, which operated helicopters from three bases, has spoken to allay any concerns over coverage. She said: “As the primary air ambulance service across Shropshire, we would like to reassure the communities we serve that our air ambulance helicopter and northern critical care car are well located to rapidly attend incidents in the county from our RAF Cosford airbase.
She has also spoken of the commitment to the region – and the improvement of services, with its new airbase being built at Cosford.
