Airborne car hits house in La Mesa, two injured [Breaking]
A vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed veered off Spring Street, went airborne over an embankment and hit the second story of a house in La Mesa on Saturday.Two occupants of the car, a late model Mercedes, were taken to a hospital with significant injuries, Heartland Fire & Rescue Battalion Chief Sam Rihan told OnScene TV. A woman inside the house was not injured.
A La Mesa building inspector was called to investigate, he said. No further information was available.
