Catherine Murphy had to order food in which she says 'cost a fortune'
An Airdrie woman in hospital for heart surgery has slammed the "disgusting" meals she was served which left her having to fork out on ordering in meals instead.
Catherine said she had to order in her own meals and believes no heart patient should have been served the dishes offered at the hospital.She told the Record: “I have never seen food like it. It was disgusting. It cost me a fortune to get food brought in.” She added: “I was taken in to the acute medicine recovery unit at first and put in a room on my own which was dirty.”She added: “I wasn’t expecting the Ritz but I was expecting it to be clean.”
